Jesus dined with thieves. I think he'd fucking expect you to bake a cake for a gay couple.
It's just too fucking bad that the hobby lobby case went the way it did. "Oh sure, your boss can refuse to provide birth control if it's against his religion?" WHAT THE FUCK. I mean that's so fucking stupid that the justices who ruled in favor of hobby lobby should go fuck themselves and take a long walk off a short pier. People believe religious liberty is the freedom to force their religion on other people. But fuck them.

You sure say the word "fuck" a lot.
As for whether or not people should be able to discriminate based on their "religious freedom", in an ideal society, the market would take care of itself and discriminatory businesses would either fail or have to bend to the market. Unfortunately, we don't live in that society, at least not in a very large portion of the US.

I sure do use that word a lot. And I'm not about to stop.
In an ideal society, nobody would discriminate against anybody for anything without any 'free market forces'. In an ideal society nobody would be an asshole.

We're still at cake-gate...
I just wish some of these cake stores would come forward and say "we make cakes for gay couples" just so we can all go to them and leave the shitty ones to decline, seems the only solution...
Until then I'm not interested in doing any business with these disriminatory companies anyway. I'm not even mad, if you're so uptight in your little beliefs that you'll turn down custom and money, you're hurting yourself more than you're hurting me.

I must be losing it, Lek. You actually sounded sane there for a second.
I am so fucking glad it's finally my state that's doing something to push back against these religiously motivated, bigoted assholes!

Oddly, or perhaps not, John Oliver did a main segment on this very issue.... and around the 10 minute mark gets into the cake...and then comes back to it at the end.
