Are you, by any chance a "professional in psychology"? Because you seem to be making "judgments" as well - only in the opposite direction - and not a particularly likely at that, considering that "asexuality" is neither common, nor scientifically proven, or even defined. Either way it's speculation.
And the woman married f-ing Jesus - she IS nuts, asexual or not.

No, it's not speculation. There is a popular forum for people who identify as asexuals. And there have been studies recently on asexual people. Google will easily give you some results on that.
And, yes, she "married" Jesus, just like most Christians anyway (the church is the bride of Jesus and all that). Nothing new.

Did the woman reveal herself to be asexual? No? Then yes - it is very much speculation.

There are also forums for bronies, furries, wizards, witches and pretty much anything you can imagine. This is the internet, after all and people can call themselves and present themselves as whatever they like.

Really? Citation, please. Again, this is the internet - misinformation, hearsay and conjecture are not difficult to come by.

I don't know if she's asexual or not. I'm suggesting it as an option. Nowhere do I say I'm certain she is. So yes, that would be speculation. But not when it comes to the general remarks I made about asexuality, which by the way is what you initially considered speculation, not my comment about the woman specifically. Do remember that.
Go here and take your pick of the studies on asexuality:
https://scholar.google.com/scholar?q=stu...KmCh2oagBl
And a link to the forum for asexual people:

Please go ahead and tell them you don't acknowledge that they are asexual. I don't think they'd take too kindly to that.

She may be frigid, or have other sexual dysfunction - sure. Also possible - she's gay and can't come to terms with her own sexuality, due to conservative upbringing and religious beliefs. Embracing abstinence does not solve the problem - only buries it.
Sexuality is a biological imperative. Our bodies's and minds' functions are heavily affected by sexual activity or lack thereof. You don't turn millions of years of evolution on a dime.
It is an imperative but some people are asexual - We don't need sex to survive as much as food, water and shelter.

Are you seriously comparing asexuality with witchcraft? Can I ask what the hell you've been smoking? asexuality as the lack of interest in sex is well documented and there's literally thousands of reports and stories you can find on google if you are not lazy enough to ask people to explain the most basic facts to you (I will not and I'm not even getting paid). If some people lack interest in sex that actually makes sense to control reproduction from an evolutionary perspective.

I see. I suppose you don't need to provide any proof, when you're up on a high horse.
"reports and stories on google"? lol
There are way more "reports and stories" regarding people witnessing supernatural events. I don't know about you, but I'm skeptical about those as well...
And yes - of course there are people who abstain for sex. There are plenty of explanations for it, other than an ill-defined "orientation".

Of course it's an option. Just not a very probable one. Compare the percentage of homosexuals, or people with sexual dysfunctions in the general population, with the percentage of alleged (self-reported) asexuals and you'll see which possibility is more probable.

I don't think my opinion matters to them. Nor do I care about their reasons for abstaining from sex.
My main point remains - whether the woman is or isn't asexual - going through with a ceremonial wedding to her imaginary friend does suggest mental problems. It's not like she did it because the society expected that - which is a good reason for people marrying real people, that they're not sexually attracted to.

Why, in your opinion, is it impossible for people to lack interest in sex? Just like some people lack interest in many activities that are considered essential by others, the same can happen with sex. I don't need to provide evidence because it is a well known claim, just like if I claim gravity exists I don't need to copy and past wikipedia to explain gravity to you. I Don't provide evidence for something people can google up and easily find.

I find no reason to doubt that some people may just not be attracted to anyone - What's wrong with that? Why should a group of people be lying about this when in the end it gets them discriminated and labelled as freaks because most of society sees sex as normal? Why should they do that and basically waste all the potential dates they could have?
