That's nothing.  I once overheard one teen girl say to another, 'Y'know, before he got famous, Paul McCartney was in a band called "Wings" . '

Cheer up. You're not old until you see a beautiful woman walk past your house and your pace maker opens the garage door.
The god who allows children to be raped out of respect for the free will choice of the rapist, but punishes gay men for engaging in mutually consensual sex couldn't possibly be responsible for an intelligently designed universe.

Haha! Yeah, I'm not there yet. Or maybe I'm living in the wrong area.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Yeah, but that a great movie. I'll allow it.

Well, I'm not sure missing out on Gilligan's Island classifies them as uncultured

Sure it does. Think of the fun and educational exercise of trying to figure out how they were on a desert isle in the opening song and a tropic island in the closing song.

And knowing that a skipper is not something you do when playing hop scotch.

...

That is easy:

Quote:desert 2
...
adjective
[ATTRIBUTIVE]Back to top
1Like a desert:overgrazing has created desert conditions

1.1Uninhabited and desolate:desert wastes

They meant definition 1.1, not definition 1, for "desert" in the phrase "desert isle."

That desert isle thing always drove me nuts. There ARE desert islands in the tropic regions like Bonaire in the Caribbean. Gilligan's Island was obviously not one of them. I always figured they got "desert" mixed up with "deserted". In reality, there are no islands that size that are uninhabited (unless privately owned or protected) and haven't been since time immemorial. Developers are bastards that have been around long before head-hunters.

Does that explain the polarity between desert and tropic?

See, we're having a highly intellectual discussion here and the kids are missing out.
