Seen as this is another shooting thread, thought I might post this again:

Gun death from legal and illegal guns is not rare, stop allowing the nutters these dodges.

Right? I'm actually really surprised that an American of all people would describe this as a rare occurrence. Seems like every other day you people are shooting each other.

"Every other day?" More like every other minute.

I meant involving news studios or news anchors, but yes, agreed.

Psssh, Chicago here. You're preaching to the choir.

"Hey man, nice weather right?"
BAM!
"Excuse me, what time is it?"
BAM!
"How do I get to Upper Wacker from here?"
"Well, first you take a right on Washington, then you..." BAM!

Okay, come on: it's pretty clear that the rare part of all this is that it happened on live TV. It's not a dodge to acknowledge that, and in fact it might even work out in favor of gun control arguments; the separation provided by only seeing the aftermath of these kinds of killings makes it easier to dismiss it, especially if you have an ideological drive to defend guns. The nutters can easily step over bodies they can't see, but here? Here we have the violence playing out front and center; maybe this time it's enough of a shock to make the NRA's pablum ring hollow in enough ears to effect real change.

I'm stunned.

I'm not, guns are made like candy, this is why we have too many gun deaths, his title of being a former reporter isn't a magic lable anymore than Pope Imam, or business man magically makes one moral.

It is way past time to blame the industry for its no rules marketing.

Especially since its clear that, even if they were armed to the teeth, these two would have had no chance to fire back.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

"I don't hang around with mostly men because I'm gay. It's because men are better than women. Better trained, better equipped...better. Just better! I'm not gay."

For context, this is the previous verse:

"Hi Jesus" -robvalue

Gun death is not rare, stop making it about motivation.
