When I was a child in Wisconsin, USA we briefly went weekly to a church shaped like a flying saucer that had a walkway that bobbed up and down around it's circumference. To this day the memories of being a child and hauling ass around that church are near and dear; the sermons are all but forgotten. If all churches were shaped like flying saucers, being raised by devout parents would hold very little sway on a child's mind but would likely be deadly to adults that drift into cult territory.

I don't believe anyone is drawn to religion. 99% are forced into it.
