He'd never actually make it to the Yard to be killed. There are now pretty strong laws about keeping anyone in PC who requests it, which is part of why they make it so hellish, so only the most desperate/endangered will request it. It's more expensive, per capita, to keep people in isolation conditions. Poor warehousing technique.

However, during the process of releasing him from isolation to the GenPop areas, while he tried to scream for a Sergeant to take him back to his original cell, he'd be terrified at what might happen to him.

Most likely he wouldn't be killed; violent "alpha male" sexual predators in long-term prisons make a game out of "turning out" men who took advantage of those less powerful than them (e.g. child molesters), but there are few of those in Min/Med security facilities. He'd most likely just get a bone or two broken, even if he did hit the Yard... but it would be a repeated set of breaks until he requested PC again.
