Is the Holocaust a cash cow?

I don't admire that many Jewish people honestly.
But I have really been liking the work of one Norman Finklestein:https://www.versobooks.com/books/1764-the-holocaust-industry
He has been arguing for years that the Holocaust of the Jewish people has been turned from a tragedy into sort of a moneymaking machine, extortion racket, and a means to absolve Israel of all criticism.
How many Holocaust movies, tv shows and other such thing have been produced ever since WW2 ended?
Whenever Hollywood is looking for a tear jerker..all they need do is make a move about the holocaust
There are holocaust books, holocaust plays, holocaust tv etc. etc.
It has many sacred shrines you can visit in Germany and Poland. Aushwitz is sort of like the DisneyWorld of the Holocaust.

I was recently in Washington D.C and I was in the Holocaust museum. I was moved by all the suffering I saw, but sort of disgusted at all the stuff being sold in the Holocaust museum shop. Why make a profit out of this?
It seems there is a concerted effort to not let the Holocaust degenerate into just another part of history, and to "keep it alive" so to speak in all ways that can be kept. I do understand it somewhat, since it is basically the antithesis of diversity and tolerance, and indeed the extreme conclusion of unchecked bigotry and racism?
For those who accuse me of being an anti semite, I am not. Of all the nations of the middle east, Israel is the only one Id consider setting foot in.

So you understand why it's "kept alive", good. That saves alot of time.

Id go to Israel because it is the country most like america.
It has plenty of electricity, plumbing and democracy. I am unlikely to ever get sick from some rancid water or food and at least they all speak English there (probably because many have family in Florida or New York City..and Jews tend to be pretty bright when it comes to languages, things that involve reading, calculating etc.)
Honestly, those Arab countries should be more like Israel in terms of being civilized, clean and speaking English.
If they'd just tamp down the Islam a bit they might be landing on the moon by now

You think? How would they accomplish that, then? By lighting giant oil fires under their assess...or repatriating the missiles scattered around the desert?

Saddam tried to help the Kuwaitis in that way.
Also, I should rephrase myself.
I like ARab nations like Dubai, Kuwait or bahrain. That is rich ones that cater to tourists well.
Iraq, Syria and Libya..there is something wrong with those people.
They need to be like the people in Frnance, England, Israel and USA. STAT!!
