Made me jump and killed me quickly, before I changed for a 10 mm pistol to something more effective.  Reloaded and went back in with my modded combat shotgun.

Didn't even get a scratch.

I just cleared out a Brotherhood invasion with my heated super-sledge, and I can take out a Knight in full power armor in two hits. I've also got the second slot of the"Rooted" perk that gives you +50 damage resistance and +50% melee damage when standing. I just sprint up to everything, stop right in front of them, and explode them into gooey bits.

And my two year old thinks it's extremely funny to watch me tear people up with the ripper. Maybe I shouldn't be letting him watch that.

In all seriousness, being involved with your kids is probably going to outweigh any negatives. FWIW, I feel a little guilty letting my 13 year old play selected M rated games.
