As has been said, attacking appearances doesn't shine the best of lights on the attacker.
Also, appearances have different effects on different people. As opposed to what he writes in some of his posts, the guy in the picture looks like a guy I would love to sit down and have a talk with.

We did when I was a kid. The whole idea was pretty terrifying. I still think teaching children about things like the rapture and hell is extremely cruel if not child abuse.
