Easter is always on a Sunday so they kind of dodge a bullet there.  A lot of schools refer to the xmas break as a "winter break" which pisses xtians off something fierce.


Again, they always want to be special.

Exactly, we don't need reasons. We could schedule time off for federal non religious holidays (such as the queen's birthday) and days that aren't on religious holidays.

The Sunnis only have two holidays.  The Asians observe the Christian holidays.  There aren't enough Hindi to worry about.

Maybe that's why countries generally have their own religions.  That way they can just cater to themselves.  Do you think Christians, Buddhists, Jews, and Hindus can open up worship houses in Mecca?
