This was a lie made up by Ian Flemming in a James Bond story.

Well then. Disregard previous question.  Wink

Even when I tried my best, and got it up to a d, my dad is like "you expect me to be happy about that?" Though as long as he didn't come after me with a belt, I guess it was a win for me.

I suck at not giving hugs to pretty much total strangers. Money, time, work, love. Like, the above here? I want to hug Chad (of all people, amiright? Wink Heart (I'm serious, though. Undecided ))

My dad takes jobs out of state sometimes. I'd really like it if he went to work out of state for the rest of my life, and just sent my mom money periodically.

I have been told he loves me, and sometimes he is nice to me, but if you have to be reminded by person B that person A doesn't hate you, something is wrong.

I am not handy. I can do typical around the house stuff, but anything "carpentry" related or doing remodeling, no thanks. I will hire a professional.

Lip reading. I am the worst lip reader I've ever met. I can be standing two feet from someone in a loud room as they very clearly physically express what they intend to convey and I just... don't... get it.

I can't whistle, either.  I'm straight, though.  At least, I think I am.  I really like boobs and dislike penises.

I can't sing.  In my head I sound awesome, but apparently I sound like a robot being strangled by a cat that is also being strangled by a gorilla, who's poorly humming a tune.

I suck at being a guy.  I'm not into the "I'm gonna brag so I can be an alpha male" shit.  That whole guy competition with bragging and, I dunno...flexing or whatever.  The only masculine things I do is grow a beard and watch sports.  I couldn't tell you about some car's dual carb shaft overhead flux capacitors, or some gun's caliber, or anything to do with capturing or killing animals.

I don't 'get' philosophy   I've had several philosophy classes at UNH, but no one has really ever given me a reason to accept why philosophers should be given as much merit as they have.  Like, when that user Statler Waldorf or whatever his name was tried arguing that atheism, by the definition given by the encyclopedia of philosophy, was only strong atheism, and that weak/agnostic atheism wasn't actually atheism at all.  Why should that definition carry more weight than mine?  Why should I defer to it?

I mean, we're not talking about something that can be tested for correctness or one's aptitude, like passing a bar exam or getting a medical license.  AFAIK, there's no philosophy license board.  It's just people spouting ideas.  So I fail to see why I should consider any of it expert testimony or evidence or whatever.
