The Bible, regardless of what happens or is, always makes sense to me because my life even if time machine existed to prove the Bible wrong. I'll tell you why.
I was a normal, intelligent skeptical unsheeple dude weary of organized religious idiots that are stuck to to one single book and can't get their close-minded off of it. I really do know how you feel about people like me who want to shoe horn their God into Science.
I can't say a big 3 page life story but I have become exactly what I have dreaded so I'm uncontrablly stuck with the Bible ever since two years.
.I've only been this faithy creatard Evolution-twister for only 2 years now so if you met me a long while back you would have been happier and met an open-minder person.
But I'll remain this way for life. It's like I've been put under an uncontrollable faith-spell. I just no longer simply CAN'T view life outside the Bible.
Likely a function of repetition and ritual. If you're in an environment of "Bible," you're gonna have to get out of that environment to get out of it. And at 18 it's too early to tell if remaining that way for life is an actual consideration.

Scratch what I just said then, you're an anomaly
I don't think you're lying, but I do think you're assigning agency to events that have none, and spotting patterns where there are none. Humans are extremely vulnerable to both of these. Feel free to send me a private message.

You seem remarkably self aware. I wouldn't write off the rest of your life at such a young age.
It's up to you whether you want to train yourself to think more logically, or if you're happy with how you are now Feel free to send me a private message.

You may think I'm crazy or lying, but I literally became a Christian all of a sudden one fine day after a prayer. It's not about what you "feel is right", it's about what you can prove. Do you know how many supernatural things that have been properly investigated have turned out to be supernatural.....zero. There is literally no evidence that supernatural is a thing. On the other hand if it makes you feel better and your views are not inflicted on any one else knock yourself out. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. Bambi ... I think you're smart enough to understand both sides of the theist/atheist equation.
Emotionally you have chosen theism. That brings you inner peace... That's a good thing... You need not have to prove anything to us ... Let me ask you something... Do you think something as complex as a "God" who can make the universe in 6 days just spontaneously appeared? Even if there are gods, they too had to evolve from a single celled life. This is abiogenesis ... Either way you look at it ...it's real ...
No God, No fear.
