Thanks Jenny. Got some questions but don't answer if you don't want to. How old were you when this occurred? Have you experienced any other events that you would consider similar?

As to the straight line snow: Was this during the day? If yes, had the sun been shining prior to the snow falling? If yes, was there a reflective surface on the side of the yard(s) where the snow was not accumulating? Where I'm going is, could the ground been warmer on the side with no snow and the snow was just melting? I have that happen where the sun has reflected off out fence, heated the ground, and then snowed after.

i was 33 years old and no i had not experienced anything similar before then or since then although since then i have experienced new inspiration that i recognized as not being my own thoughts but as far as seeing a strange thing happen physically no that was the only time . yes the straight line snow happened during the day and it was very sunny outside and really warm for february no doubt because it was sunny out . my attention was not really focused on the ground but on the straight line before me . i dont know if the ground was warmer on the side but it seems strange that one side of the line would be so much warmer than the other side , it was not near a fence but in the middle of my yard and extended past my yard into my neighbors yard and i could not see past her house to my right my neighbor did not have any snow at all in her yard and did not see any snow on right side to my left was heavy snowfall on the left side of the line everywhere that i could see and not one snowflake fluttered past the line which just did not seem at all natural to me if it had just been a gradual stopping of snow i wouldve thought that was cool but not shocking .

Welcome jenny!  We don't have a ton of "God Believers" here so your addition is welcome.  Lots of great people and a good variety of discussions going on varying from serious philosophical discussion, to light-hearted opinion pieces.  Hope you enjoy your stay Smile

But write "atheists" with an ei, not an ie, please? Smile

isnt the rule i before e except after c?  i think you atheists just like being rebellious Cool

"Atheist" is the combination of the prefix "a-" (meaning "not" in this case) with the word "theist."  If the word "theist" were spelled differently, then the word "atheist" would likewise be spelled differently.

Also, the "i before e except after c" rule has many exceptions:

And don't mind Alex.  After demonstrating his passion for exact English, next he will probably start pretending to be German.  Still, he seems to know a thing or two about physics, so if you have any physics questions, you might want to head over to the physical science section of the forum and pay attention to his remarks on that topic.

You do know that there is always an edge to where it is snowing, as otherwise it would have to be snowing all around the world everywhere at the same time?

Your claim:

"She wrote of a clearly demarcated edge to the snow, you said that it has to be that way, ..."

is just bullshit.  When you make claims about my posts, try to stick to reality instead of imaginary bullshit nonsense that you make up.

I've emphasized where you shoot yourself in the foot. Do you even read what you write before you hit send?

It's a shame you don't have the character to simply say, "I misspoke" and move on, but that's cool.  I'm learning more about you from this exchange, and it's confirming my opinion of you. I'm not going to shit up her introductory thread any more with this argument, either, so you can have the last word. Make it good.

Dumbfuck.

I stated that there is always an edge (unless it is snowing everywhere in the world at once).  I did not state anything about how clearly demarcated the edge was, or how vaguely demarcated it was.  Yet you are too stupid to see this, even on rereading it.  And then you insult me due to your stupidity.  And you pretend that you are not mucking up someone's introductory thread with your stupid bullshit.

I'd like to remind everyone that this is the Introductions subforum, which has a less-relaxed set of rules than the main forum.  Namely:

"Whilst we are generally lenient with insulting language / rudeness in other forums, this kind of behaviour is explicitly disallowed in the Introductions forum."

Let's keep it civil in here, please.
