Its a far bit rarer with snow because of the aerodynamics of a snow flake, it would require the air to very still. Where as with water droplets its harder for the wind to act on them.

Here is what I don't understand. First off why leap to the conclusion that this is a violation of the laws of nature? Secondly why feak out so much? Thirdly why base the conclusion that there is a god on intrusive thoughts that you had in a extremely emotional state.

ok well my reaction was different . this was not heavy raindrops coming straight down it was very lightweight snowflakes that should have fluttered across the line at least a few snowflakes should have . the air was not completely still slight breeze but even if it were the snowfakes falling downward would be exposed to air resistance just by gravity and moving . take a bunch of feathers no wind and create a line and drop the feathers and see if any feathers stay within the boundaries and not cross over naturally . my mind knew that something was off about what i was seeing ive watched snow fall many times in my life if you thought some scientist was manipulating nature right outside your house would you freak out ? the intrusive thoughts didnt occur until after i calmed down and continue to this day .

But as I explained this is a natural phenomenon that all be it rare it happens. Now here is where we differ. As a Christian I used to think that god spoke to me, like most Christians do. The reason I don't hear god speak to me anymore is because once I approached this feeling with skepticism I came to a conclusion. Either the god of the whole universe really is talking to me or my perception is flawed and my mind is playing tricks on me. Since we have a multitude of evidence demonstrating the flaws of human perception and none as yet of a god as well as the lack of a cohensive answer to what is a god I was forced to conclude the latter.
Given your experience I want to ask you a few more questions. First what is a god?
Second how do I tell a godlike entity from a god?
How did you employ this knowledge (what's tests did you do) to determine if it is actually a god you were in contact with. Ex. This god explaining the true nature of dark matter.
