'Cotton Jenny' by Gordon Lightfoot. Anne Murray had a hit with it in 1972. One of the lyrics is 'She rubs my feet while the sun goes down.'

No matter. You seem a very nice person, even if you decline to rub the feet of a perfect stranger. Wink

I like this one. She's funny. Smile

The "i before e" joke is great.
A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Thanks Jenny. Got some questions but don't answer if you don't want to. How old were you when this occurred? Have you experienced any other events that you would consider similar?

As to the straight line snow: Was this during the day? If yes, had the sun been shining prior to the snow falling? If yes, was there a reflective surface on the side of the yard(s) where the snow was not accumulating? Where I'm going is, could the ground been warmer on the side with no snow and the snow was just melting? I have that happen where the sun has reflected off our fence, heated the ground, and then snowed after.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.

Well, yeah ... But pedantry bores me.

She wrote of a clearly demarcated edge to the snow, you said that it has to be that way, and it's not really the case. Now, if you meant a feathered edge when you wrote that, it wouldn't be relevant to her point. And if you didn't, 'tis much easier to simply say so and move on.

You should learn to read.  Here is my original post:

You do know that there is always an edge to where it is snowing, as otherwise it would have to be snowing all around the world everywhere at the same time?

Your claim:

"She wrote of a clearly demarcated edge to the snow, you said that it has to be that way, ..."

is just bullshit.  When you make claims about my posts, try to stick to reality instead of imaginary bullshit nonsense that you make up.
