If you could remove your need for sleep, would you?

I fought sleep as a child and never outgrew it. My typical cycle involves three nights of fighting sleep tooth and nail and then crashing hard on the fourth. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Not using pills, no.

I do wish I could get by on two hours a night.

That's a wasteful period of unconsciousness too.

No.

A several-hour unconscious break between dealing with idiots is required.

Only occasionally to avoid drowsiness when driving and so on. Otherwise I'm with Vic.

I love sleep too much. Only when necessary.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

That would have to be one fucking magical miraculous pill.

My skeptic radar is up. I doubt I'd ever take it.

I would have jumped all over it when I was young. Now, I'm not so sure.

I like a good sleep every now and again, but yes I would.

As long as it wouldn't make me look tired or feel like shit, yeah. Why spend a third of your life sleeping when you could be living? Byeeee.

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."
