So. How'd it go? (Thanksgiving)

I do not celebrate holidays. So it was just me sitting in front of my computer watching Marvel's Jessica Jones.

I made dinner with the help of one child. He washed dishes and helped with the food while my other half and youngest son went hunting. They came back late, ate then promptly fell asleep leaving me to wash up dishes and try to figure out where all the leftovers are going. No apologies from either. I am done.

I am not doing one fucking thing for anyone for christmas because no one in my house apparently gives enough of a crap to bother to pitch in and help out unless I scream and beg. So.... I'm not exerting any more of my time or energy on people who don't give a rats ass.

They really should realize they have someone to be thankful for, and you can tell them I said it.

Went out to move leaves around, played havic with the arthritis in my back other than that a very quiet holiday.

At my age I shouldn't be running around with a back pack leaf blower playing in the leaves.

I'm up now at my computer because I'm having trouble sleeping - too many dreams, not bad ones just enough to wake me..

I get a bit stressed out on Holidays, so I occasionally envy Kitan, but my parents are 20 minutes away. So I'm not in a position not to attend Thanksgiving.

It went OK, tonight. Turkey, green beans, potato casserole, cranberry sauce, a roll, shoe fly pie. Two rowdy kids and my mother, wholoves kids and gets rowdy around them. Good adult company, though.

You're the first person I've heard mention shoe fly pie in a while.
And shoe fly pie is excellent.
