Despise beards. They make me want to check the animal for lice. Preferably with a fire hose.
I did like a beard on one school friend though. He lost a part of his jaw in a motorcycle accident. He needed it.

Facial hair is rugged and very manly. I like it. Not too long, though. 
Clean shaven works as well, especially with a square jawline.

Stubble...no. Ugh.

Mine lets his go.... and it goes everywhere. Sorta like grizzly Adams. (you older folk will know who I'm referring to.
Hell, half the time his moustache is well below his upper lip. Must suck to eat your own hair all the time. Oh well.

I'm always impressed on the rare times he does shave because it takes at least 10 years off his age when he does. And I like it better off than on. But hey, it's his face. He likes the mangled mess and all its unkemptness.
