I on rare occassions will listen to rap, seeing as i dont really prefer one genre, so i was listening during class because our teacher allowed it as we studied. I was caught off guard by this though, listening to unmeaningful songs over and over in some playlist i found i came accross this. Forget catchy beats, great lyrics make a song.
A bad rapper will struggle to not repeat himself during a song, and to find different rhymes. They will rely mostly on the beat, and not talk super fast to prevent having to make new lyrics.
A great rapper will struggle not with saying too little, but saying too much. Thats what this is. Its just point after point, meaningful statements. Theres so much substance in these lyrics, that he has trouble speaking fast enough to read it all.
