Just had to reaclimate myself to stealth, more akin to Odyssey. Which means no running into the fray like in Valhalla. Although parkour is available, it has not become a requirement like some instances in pre-RPG games.

I remember playing that game back when it came out. In fact, just yesterday I was thinking what was that game set in ancient Rome that I played, but could not remember.
Someone borrowed me the CD and the computers had so little hard disk memory that I couldn't copy it to my HDD, and CD burners were still kind of expensive, so once I returned it I couldn't play it unless I bought it.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

My XBOX Gamepass subscription has lapsed, so I lack access to some games. And I realized that I spent $10 on the PC version of a game, thinking it was the XBOX version. (D'oh!) I won't be renewing my subscription until I get over covid as I haven't been able to earn money from donating plasma while I've been sick, leaving a bit of a cash crunch.

It's a really good game. I could be playing the definitive edition but the original gives me more nostalgia.

Just got myself a fabled Gulikit KingKong 2 Pro Controller... Ie the first and/or possibly only controller to claim to have definitively fixed the issue of stick drift... by using electromagnetic parts rather than whatever most of them use, where dust/dirt getting in and wear and tear leads to almost inevitable stick drift. I've had to replace or try to fix about six controllers so far because of stick drift, and enough is enough... so looking on this as a investment. Definitely feels like a solid controller, though I wish it felt more like a PlayStation controller than an xbox controller, but beggars can't be choosers and if it solves the stick drift problem that will outweigh everything.

Played the Talos Principle some while ago. It was a really fun puzzle game. Strongly recommend if you're into that kind of game.

I can only play Mirage in short spurts because I have to watch online videos on how to accomplish every single little move.
