Yay, I got it working! I've just played Coral Island for the first time on Linux, and I think it almost looked better in some undefinable way... the colours and the animation seemed a bit more vibrant. Anyway, it was POP OS I went with, and managed to tinker around with it and get steam working. It's an incredibly sleek OS that you'd hardly be able to tell was Linux if you didn't already know. Having now used it for a bit, and seeing how intuitive and easy it was to do all the stuff I needed to do... set up partitions, mount points, permissions etc... all graphically without recourse to a terminal even once yet... I have to say I'm really impressed with this OS, and now I can finally play 3D games on Linux!

I was almost ready to give up again, but I beat the Grym giant.

I did that a few days ago, it's a tough fight. The ad hoc solution I used killed Karlach and Wyll, thems the breaks.

I'm playing a gnome Sorcerer, I judged a dangerous jump to snag a chest of loot wouldn't kill me, and it didn't, but the mimic I landed on did.

Made it to level seven. Turns out I had finished the main creche quest before. Now I just need to figure out some side stuff before moving onto Act II.

Was looking at a guide for the Gith egg. Apparently, there used to be no way to convince the caretaker to let you have it. Must have been recently tweaked. Having read what I can do with the egg, I don't

I haven't played on my XBOX lately. I played 30 minutes of stray the other day, but other than that it's been baseball and rewatching my favorite parts of Extraordinary Attorney Woo.
