Terminator 2D No Fate. It's such a great game.
I guess the makers took the best of old games and put it in this. Some of the levels, like where you play as Sarah Connor, are reminiscent of the old Aliens arcade game and also the game Alien 3. There is that urban dystopia feeling as if the Terminator and Alien franchises are in the same world.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Installing Mortal Kombat 1. It took some figuring out, but I learned that Mileena is part of the base game, and I have an offer from Microsoft to buy the definitive edition for a good price.

The Christmas XBOX game sale just dropped. They dropped the price on Persona 5 Royal and Triangle Strategy. I'll definitely get Triangle Strategy, but I'll have to think about Persona. Still, Persona is only $18, so I might. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is also on sale for $21. I just picked up Yakuza: Like a Dragon for $10. They're both great games, but I'm not a big fan of the Yakuza universe. They've also got two excellent Dragon Quest remakes on sale, but they want more than I want to pay, even on sale. I've got 21 days to ponder my choices.

An article in The Verge was touting Keeper and Routine as hot games from 2025. I had never heard of them, but I checked, and both games are on Game Pass and so I can play them for free. Keeper sounds good. Routine isn't as well-reviewed, but it's a survival horror game, and I've gotten interested in the genre lately. I wasn't interested in survival horror until I started playing some. It's not all that different from traditional RPG games, it's just a different setting.

I finished chapter one of the first story that I'm playing in Octopath Traveler II. I had to kill a difficult boss monster right off the bat. It took a few tries, but I slowly figured it out.

Debating whether to buy Persona 5 Royal. It's a story-heavy game where you spend a bunch of your time making friends in school. The friendship side of Midnight Suns is what I didn't like about that game, but Persona 5 Royal has a better reputation and is widely considered a great game. Not that I need yet another game to play.....

I played a little more of Clair Obscur. I see what you mean about it not telling you where you need to go. The game is rather funky. Definitely French.
Ni No Kune: Wrath of the White Witch is on sale, so I played the opening. It starts with one of the longest cutscenes ever. I swear it was 15 minutes long.
Anyway, I decided to get Persona 5 Royal. I've played a little of Persona 4 Golden, and I'm encouraged by that. Reviews say the first hours are slow, but that's okay.
And I've found a 16-bit JRPG style horror game. It looks good, the only thing holding me back is there's no combat, which is weird.

I realized I've never finished Fallout New Vegas -and- I've never gone all-in with the Legion, so I'm off to do both.

Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake is available for pre-order and I've got $25 of the $50 price burning a hole in my pocket. I guess I'll do the prudent thing and wait.

Been continuing to play Wylde Flowers.
My one gripe is how I have to keep switching between normal and relaxed time passage. Normal if I don't have much to do, but relaxed if I need the extra time for chores.
