I was thinking about trying that one out. Then I watched enough gameplay reviews to know better.
I don't believe you. Get over it.

Honestly, it's quite awesome. It has a very large and active community, too.
There are only 2 major drawbacks: you cannot trade Player to player except for some food and potions, and the system of upgrading armor and weapons is tediously random and a huge money sink.
That being said, the life skills (fishing, crafting, gardening, trade and housing) are all wonderful. Combat is gorgeous, and PvP pretty well balanced. The gameplay itself is addicting. And it's really easy to make the tons of cash needed for upgrading armor and weapons. Making my biggest complaint the lack of trade. I would have enjoyed giving my daughter a boat I made, for instance, or my husband a wagon, but I cannot

Playing the new DOOM! It's not as good as like, dark souls or something, but I've found it has an insane amount of actions. It's actually a pretty good game. I'm finally in hell, actually just left hell and went back to mars, and I'm amazed at how intense the gameplay is. I wish that this was the sort of game that would go on for like 100 hours, but it probably won't which is what I fear. It would be great if there would be a map design community for this doom like there was for the old one, that would be incredible if I could just play endless expansion packs lol. Probably not going to happen, as I'm sure the original doom is much easier to build levels for as opposed to this which would probably take a professional game developer studio -_-

I'm re-visiting the old classic Tomb Raider
I'll still take old triangle tits over the screechy basic Lara we have now tbh. Even with her stupid clumsy jumping.

About to play Mafia 3.
So far, I've given a lot of my rackets to Vito.

I don't have an xbox one though, so I can't add you. Sorry.

She can jump 100 feet while firing a fucking gun, make Molotov cocktails in 1 second, fire a grappling hook into a hoop with 100% precision, but she can't have big breasts anymore. . . cuz, you know, don't want to break the sense of realism.
Fuck that.

Fuck that. I lived for her 1000ft jumps, it was so funny seeing her take off like a rocket
As far as her looks go, it's not so much the realistic model that bothers me. In fact I do really like this new look, it's beautiful but without trying too hard to be sexy like the old Lara was.
I'm more pissed that they have this new girl they've created and they're marketing her as "Lara Croft", when virtually nothing about her character resembles the woman I grew up playing. Where's her signature twin pistols? Where's her aristocratic background? Where's her dry English wit, and comical deadpan non-reaction to danger?
Uh, where are the tombs she's supposed to be raiding?
Apparently the new game (which I'm not buying yet at full price, because I'm giving Square Enix all my petty for fucking us PS4 fans over), has fixed a couple of those things. Still not enough from what I've seen, I want a new actress tbh. I don't think the current actress is a bad actress at all, however she is not Lara in my opinion. There's also a lot "off" about her lines, but I blame the writers for that. It's weird, the actress speaks with a British accent, but I find a lot of her sayings and mannerisms really Americanised (if that makes sense). It's like an American who has no knowledge of British humour and dialect wrote the script.

I still think there's an anti-feminist undertone to all this "normalizing" of women. Lara Croft looked like a Barbie doll. But she wasn't-- she was a clever, strong, brave female character. She defied a stereotype.
Now, you have a smart-looking, feminist-looking, Lara Croft. She IS a stereotype now. To me, it's not a step up. Why can't an exaggeratedly super-hot looking woman be smart and strong? I have no problem with new characters looking more toned-down. By Lara Croft was what she was. She looked the way she was. Saying it's no longer okay for her character to look like that is to say it's not okay for her to be what she was.
I'm still against it. Bring back the hourglass, and let Lara be Lara!
