Considering it is Game of the Year, I would state yes. Having played it, I would never spend that much. Good thing I purchased it on sale.

Going through another run, new char, of BG3. There is no proper ice build, so I am kind of attempting to build one of my own.

Asmodeus Tiefling for fire resistance and hellish rebuke.

Cold Draconic bloodline sorcerer for that extra cold damage with cold spells

So, essentially, fire and ice instead of just ice. There do not seem to be enough cold spells for a pure cold build.

I've been playing Elden Ring. A key move, dodge rolling, requires moving the stick and pressing a button. I can't seem to get the timing right.

Having Shadowheart in your party gives you a 1d4 advantage to most dice rolls.  Having the right person open the chests makes those pretty easy.  I'm not usually bothered by dice rolls.  part of the reason for them is that you aren't supposed to always win them.  Take the loss, and have that change your story a bit.

One thing I have learned in BG3 is that melee fighters rarely get to do any damage because the fight is basically over by the time they move over to where they need to be.

Ranged damage is best. Wizard, meh. Warlock, not so much. Sorcerer, yes.
