Veilguard.
Storyteller mode, because I don't like to suffer when I'm gaming.
I've checked out all three classes, but as usual for this franchise I guess I will be sticking with mage.
Elven mage. Since fiction is basically an unimportant aspect of gameplay, I'm choosing Lord's of Fortune simply because of how hot he looks in the Aspirational Armor.
Alright, time to actually play.

Basically caught up in the game again. Not doing any more restarts since I already know mage is for me.

Been doing good on figuring out puzzles on my own. But there are a couple chests I have no idea how to reach. Can't find cheat videos right now.

Having almost reached player level twenty of fifty possible levels, I have come to the realization that the game primarily wants you to be a warrior. You don't meet your first warrior companion until around that level point.
I did die once in battle, having the first fight against a dragon. Which was not fun.
And there's only one Qunari companion.

As far as romance goes, I prefer the rogue Lucanis. His is the only personality I like.
Was reading an opinion piece to see who others thought was the best romance option, and it was the warrior Davrin. I personally find him off-putting. And others stated the main reason for liking him was his Griffon companion. Which is adorable, but not a good enough reason to romance the guy.
As for straight guys, I don't see much of an option. Neve is the best female character, in my opinion, but she's also trans. I suppose Bellara and Harding are options. *shrug*

A minor frustrating part of the game is that your companions don't seem to attack properly unless you instruct them. So you have to pause your attacking to make them use an ability.

Just noticed that Bellara is a mage. I always figured, because of the bow, that she was a rogue.

I was just remembering that at the end of Inquisition, Solas was talking to Flemeth.
So far, in Veilguard, we haven't seen her.
