Yes, agree.

There are times when of course, dressing modestly makes sense...at work...and now that I'm engaged, my attire is sexy with him in mind only. I was never one to flaunt my body per se, but yoga pants, tight skirts with the right heels, I mean...if it looks good and sexy, but not cheap...then, I like it. I tend to wear what I like, and feel good in, and comfortable.

Truthfully, if I could wear pj's all day, with my hair in a messy bun...and reading glasses I would. My fiance also finds this sexy, but that's love talking.  Tongue

Aww, that's sweet.

I'm glad you like my posts, because they're long as fuck.

Brevity is not my strong suit.

I'm surprised no-one has ever said this to me, yet:

I don't judge woman to be bad character or anything for how they dress, but there are virtues, there is light, there is unseen beauty and glory to human, that if people want to walk the higher path, have to adopt certain way to dress.

I find it a virtue to mind your own goddamned business about what other people do.

SEE?!??

Brevity.  At work.

Boru

Naming little Boru "virtue" doesn't count.

Atheist: no such thing as objective virtue, it's all relative to what we decide...yet when other societies believe differently then them, mock it. Rich. Real Rich. Angel

Relax, MK. Don't get your knockers in a wad.

I guess that could kind of be interpreted as mockery, but I see it more as a bit of dismissive sarcasm. I don't care enough about what other societies consider virtuous standards of dress to actively mock.

It's not the standards themselves that I take issue with or seek to ridicule. It's the notion that anyone outside of said belief system should somehow care or give any consideration to the matter, whatsoever.

Since you admit all your concepts of virtue are relative and virtue is just what we decide, just to let you know, I look for objective guidance as opposed to defining morals by my desires.

So until you can prove your morals objectively, no one will take you guys seriously. People however will take Islam seriously and it still has the most converts coming to it.

So go on, while you keep yapping your subjective virtues which has no reality no substance in your own words, "no objective moral facts exist" according to you, people will look for guidance, for purpose, and they will find a book that points to the way of that path and reminds of a Lord who upon him is the guiding of the way and who doesn't share your sense of virtue fortunately regarding this "mind your own goddamned business" attitude.

Let me put it plainly: what I wear has nothing to do with you. I don't care what you think of me. It's not about you. You worry about yourself.

Clearly, one of MK's 'objective virtues' is minding other peoples' business.

There is a tug war in the world regarding this and everyone is going at it with this issue in mind. Hardly anyone has been totally silent over this issue.

Who is going to mind their own business of it anymore. It's set sail long ago. The tug war is on.

If your an example of objective morality and virtues, then I would be happy being amoral and without virtue.
