I think an argument could be made a fatwa is called for. A given Muslim moving to non Sharia governed area demonstrates a lack of fidelity to Allah.

The proper way to do it would be to conquer the area, overthrow whatever government is there and supplant it with an Islamic regime, then colonize the area.

I agree actually that our government does pander to religion. It's just not Christianity any more. I'm surprised they haven't replaced the Bishops with Imams in the House of Lords. Our politicians, like almost every public figure, are shit scared of what will happen if they don't kiss ass.
