Welcome, Paul!
Oh, I need to move to England. (Land of my ancestors!)
Here in America, Christianity has ruled by majority for most of our history. Now the numbers are dropping, and they're running scared.
But 70% of the population still identifies as christian. Where I live, I think the numbers are higher. If there can be a nastier epithet than
"gay" in my town, it's "atheist". So I'm probably one of the folks you're looking for.
So I'll look for your threads. Welcome to the forum!

I'm non-religious and do not believe that there is any almighty being that has designed or created us as a race.
I'm studying for a degree in computing and mathematical sciences and am rather good at procrastination, recently I have been watching youtube videos instead of reading a rather dry Java programming text book and have seen a lot of 'debunking' videos from all sides of the argument.
Now, being from England, I have absolutely no first hand experience of this kind of conflict between religious believers and those who are not and I really wanted to talk to people that do and to try and get a feeling as to why there is this huge animosity between these groups.
feel free to message me.
Welcome, Paul!
There are many EXCELLENT debaters here at AF. You'll get a really nice first hand experience of the nature of what goes on between theists and atheists. It is quite a treat!

I've been thinking of making a square metal tubing frame, problem is that i am no good with welding.
The welds don't have to be pretty. Zap it a few times.
Then just flap to clean up ready for wood.

Welcome to the board, if you have friends that are Atheists as well invite them as well. When I was searching for a Atheist forum I tried two others and quite displeased with them. I found this one and was very happy with the people on here, the Admins are great at keeping spammers off the forum, also as well there's a lot of content.
