vote Donald trump!?
RE: vote Donald trump!?
I sense that KUSA is joking about liking Trump. I'm guessing sarcasm.

It may be wishful thinking on my part but... I'm guessing, I'm hoping--sarcasm.

If the pope don't like him, Trump can't be all bad.

Oh and KUSA, there is a huge difference between being a no name, like we are, and entertainer like Howard Stern or Rush Limbaugh, or you or me, and running a country and presenting yourself to the rest of the world.

I would never run for president because I would have to be polite all the time, and I am not comfortable doing that all the time. There is a huge difference between the free speech of the public, and how politicians present themselves to each other and to the public.

Trump acts like Un literally, Saber rattles for no other purpose than to bring attention to himself. I hated Bush Jr, but even he never acted like that in office to the public or in public.

Nope, that doesn't make it better for me. First off the Pope isn't running for office, nor is he in our congress. Secondly, after what he said after Hebdo, "picking on religion is like picking on your mom", and then after that, telling gays in the west one thing about marriage, then going to parts of Asia and Africa and telling them the opposite about marriage, Then meeting with homophobe Kim Davis, I don't think the Pope has any business sticking his nose into our politics.

Oh and when Kerry was running, and that Pope stuck his nose into the abortion issue, even republicans were telling him to stay out of it.

I don't care if you if you like the Pope or not, me personally I dont. The last Pope I found tolerable was Paul. But ultimately they still are not elected officials and should not be viewed as such.

That may be because you're too young to fully appreciate him and his encyclica Humanae Vitae.

Bro if you like Hillary then you don't have any room to talk about me liking Trump. That is one corrupt bitch.

Bernie, he is a likable guy. I won't vote for him but as a person he seems decent.

Trump has a lot of things going for him.

He's a real American.

He's not a redneck Southerner.

He's not a Canadian.

He claims that he will place America first in his policies.

He wants to deport the illegal aliens.

He's an outsider and not a Clinton or a Bush.

He's not a Catholic.

He's not afraid to tell people to kiss his ass, which will come in handy when dealing with the dummies in Congress.

It was with Obama. I met so many people that voted for him because they just liked him. They had no idea what his policies were. They knew nothing about him. It was just hope and change.

Half the country hated Obama for various reasons and the Republicunt congress most certainly hated him.

Quote:President of US is not an emperor - without political backing, he's going to achieve exactly nothing.
Most presidents don't achieve anything other than fucking the country up worse. Look at Obamacare, it isn't universal health care. It was a plan to make insurance companies rich. Obama helped his rich buddies out.

Quote:Not that most of his "goals" are achievable in the first place - it's just bullsh*t, a show for the gullible, apathetic masses, who don't understand politics, but enjoy the show...

Every presidential race is just a dog and pony show anyway. They all talk their shit and just do what they want after they get elected.

Quote:“Democracy is the art and science of running the circus from the monkey-cage.” - H.L. Mencken

A Democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of Government. It can only exist until the voters discover they can vote themselves largess out of the public treasury. From that moment on the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits from the public treasury with the result that Democracy always collapses over a loose fiscal policy, always to be followed by a Dictatorship and a Monarchy.

Too young? I am 49. I am certainly old enough to remember Pope John Paul.

The better argument would be, maybe I was too young back then and too ignorant to see what I see in all the current Popes who have been since.

Just looked that up, yea, SOP(Standard Operating Procedure) on "family values", not much has changed other than the newer Popes, especially this one now, speaking with a forked tongue. They still condemn use of condoms and abortion, they only thing that really has changed is telling gays in one part of the world one thing, and telling right wing Catholics in other parts of the world another.

Actually, I should be more accurate, "St John Paul 11" not that it really matters, the names are phony pseudo names.
