Don't confuse right with rightwing. What I'm talking about is the new extreme right, surfacing all over Europe these last few years. And represented by the likes of Trump in the US. They haven't got any plans other than fear and hate mongering. That's sufficient to win elections. It's not sufficient to run a government, as has been proven again and again. We aleady had a right/right coalition and after ten years, the courts are still busy investigating all the cases of brazen corruption from this time. When they come into power they only line their own pockets and ruin the economy on their way. Same as Trump, if given half a chance.

Presumably, quite a bit of his enthusiasm would be regarding Trump having demonstrably worse morals than Newty does, and the christers nevertheless are for the most part holding their noses and supporting him.
