RE: On kids reading Harry Potter?
With all the bad shit your kid could grow up to be, your worried they might become a wizard?

No he's not, he's just very conflicted with his own beliefs/disbelief so he comes on here as a Poe to get everyone riled up because it makes him feel better when he sees a bunch of people talking about how stupid Christianity is.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

This is a riff on that Christian Harry Potter FanFic that was going around a few weeks ago.

So wait, let me get this straight.  In order to make himself feel better about his own self doubt, he says things that will make people mock Christianity MORE?

Color me confused.

I think he's not a Christian, otherwise why say things that would intentionally cause more mocking of Christianity?  People do lie on the internet, you know.  If he's told you otherwise in private, I think he's just using you to further his poe plans.

If you don't like the original, then don't watch this fanfic (which is brilliantly scripted and acted, btw.  It amazes me how good some fanfic is nowadays).

But if you are a fan...enjoy!

From following him on here and reading all his posts, this is what I have gathered:

He is Catholic but has been very conflicted with his beliefs. He wants to leave but is having a hard time letting go and feels unsure in case it actually IS all real. I think getting people riled up and getting them to talk about how stupid Christianity is, makes him feel better about leaving. It's kind of like when you break up with someone and you're trying to move on, so you go out with your friends and it makes you feel better when they start talking crap about the person you broke up with.

Ahh, I see your point.

Well, in that case he is still a poe, even if one with a reason.

Yes, he did say he was an agnostic early on, here.  But when someone is disingenuous, even with a reason, it still makes other people doubt them, you know?

He's whatever is his kind of fun and what he thinks riles up people the most. He's an idiot scumbag, just here for the heck of it. He came on flying a false flag and he's still doing it. Some people are buying his shit and run routine and maybe he's wanking right now over it.

As Monty Python used to say, I fart in his general direction. That's all the respect I can muster for people like that.

Oh yeah, he's definitely a poe/troll.
