That's fair enough.  The problem with the US is that the constitution separates church and state.  And for those of you who will happily watch the state overrule religious institutions, be careful-- because we are then one Republican presidential win away from seeing Christianity instituted as the official religion of the states.  Because for all their hollering about the Constitution, they will fuck it to hell if it means they can put up a virtual Confederate flag.

I think it's best to tread lightly in these matters.

I'm not sure that religious freedom means the ability to impose one's beliefs upon the facts. As Steel Curtain noted, they are using a scientifically invalid criterion for what is and isn't an abortifacient in order to impose their views.

They have the right to their own beliefs. They do not have the right to their own facts.

That's right. Value judgments are expected to be skewed and biased. Factual observations must not be. When facts are deliberately skewed in order to support a value judgment, then there's a problem.

If you say reproduction is good, and you believe that avoiding it is immoral, okay. If you make shit up about "legitimate" rape and other bullshit like that, you need to be removed from the gene pool, ideally on the front grille of my pickup.

Thoughts?

Why force a woman to turn away business because of her name?

I would find ways to produce at less cost. If I didn't buy from the most economical sources I would have to pass that cost on to my customers. They are the disabled. I do everything I can to make my products affordable to the population I serve and who mostly live on a fixed incomes.

Hey shit for brains, is it two weeks or three you're away from bankruptcy? But on a serious level, if you want to know why the US is going down the crapper look in the mirror once in a while. It is people like you with the 'me, me, me; fuck you I gots mine' attitude who are ruining the country.

At the very least confer with someone you respect who the owns or operates a manufacturing or distribution enterprise. Its very easy to accuse others without realizing the complexities of managing a supply chain.

No it isn't dipshit. The excuses are complex, just like trying to justify the bible or Quran, sure. But if it worked the way you say, then nobody would be bitching would they? If it were all about simply trusting the rich, there would be no anti trust laws and lawsuits for bad products. Economies are no different. You stress out enough people, they react.

You don't deserve respect shit for brains. You fuck over everybody just because your psychopatic sense of self-entitlement says you are better than evrybody else. Like every other "self-made" man you conveniently forget about all the other people whose hard work made up such a large part of your current position, because if you did acknowledge them, you'd also have to acknowledge how litte your effort contributed to your success, and how fucking others over simply to get a little bit richer is utterly fucking evil. If you knew what you are, and truly follow what you profess to follow the guilt would have driven you insane long ago.

People who don't understand economics shouldn't use their ignorance as the basis for moral arguments.  I'm not sure why you guys are coming in with all the shit-talk, but fucking knock it off-- at least until you know more about the particular business Chad is in and the unique challenges he faces in making his business work.

Is Chad his brother's keeper?  Does he have a moral obligation to burn money just because you or your dropout cousin or whatever doesn't have a cushy union job?  You aren't asking him to choose between big profits and moderate ones-- you're probably demanding that he commit business suicide because Americans want big pay and benefits whether an employer can afford them or not.

Let me clarify and add to this for the "fuck the poor" right wing nuts to read the following.

I hate the term "hard work", that is bullshit. Productivity isn't about the amount of sweat and time, but efficiency. Business owners don't own businesses because they want to "work hard", they own them so they can have economic stability, and without that stress the hours they may spend doing it, makes it easier on them. It is much harder to work long hours if you have to struggle to pay your bills and split your time between family and two jobs.

I don't hate business in and of itself. I do hate that our current climate at the top stands on the labor and pisses all over the work the top gets rich off of. We really don't give a shit that some want more. We do care about the cost of living ratio getting out of hand. 20 dollars to a billionaire is nothing. 20 dollars to a fast food worker with 2 kids is a lot.

"It is your fault you are poor" is bullshit and nothing but an excuse to justify your own greed. It isn't your wealth we hate, it is your fucking selfish attitude.

It is a fucking myth that liberals hate the private sector. Hating greed is not hating all wealth. Hating wages not keeping up with the cost of living is also not hating all wealth.

I know well about economics, first of all I studied it for my degree and second of all I was at the wrong end of its latest failure.

What you and shit for brains and other free market cheerleading advocating retards don't understand is that free market economies will always fail as failure is an essential component of the system. Failure is the easiest and cheapest way for those at the top to ensure they stay at the top, after every single crash it is the same people who come out ok and in control of wealth, however those below get ruined. It happens every single time.
