However.. they never get a chance to repent of their oringal sin.. so maybe Augustine was right?

If so..those babies better get used to the heat!

Haha Tc, It's a good job we all know you are kidding Wink

The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

In the Bible the younger you die the faster your soul reached perfection.  So it's very good indeed when babies die because they quickly reached perfection and didn't have to suffer the pain of living.

Wisdom 4:16 (CEB) = "16 So the dead who did what’s right will condemn the ungodly who are still alive, and someone who dies young will condemn the old person who has lived many years but hasn’t done what is right."

Of course if you die young you are screwed.

Wisdom 3:18 (CEB) = "18 If they die young, they will have no hope or comfort on Judgment Day."

Maybe they are punished in hell by being raped by demons as reparations for corrupting priests to molest them when they were alive ??

Speaking of the topic, I always wonder what "True" Christains think about the demons torturing people in Hell.

If the demons torture the souls of the damned.... the souls who pissed off God and refused to honor Him...

Are the demons... doing God's will? Undecided

It's god's last gift to the atheists.

Mmmm, open-fire roasted babies.

And for the rest of the damned in hell, seeing large numbers of babies being cruelly tormented, forever, apparently for nothing, would add to the overall horror and depravity of their own eternal torment and punishment.

If there is no hope for the innocent babies in hell, imagine the demoralizing effect on the actual sinners there.

I think eternal torment of babies in hell serves a divine purpose therefore.

Baby tested, God approved.

Children do not go to hell.

"But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven." - Matthew 19:14

Matthew 18
Quote:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me.

As far as baptism goes, there is at least one person who went to heaven and was never baptized; the thief. Now why did the thief get to go to paradise when even Jesus himself had to be baptized? Because that was the only opportunity the thief had, which shows you that God is just.

But woe to them that had the opportunity and rejected it, like the other thief; because it will be much worse for them (than those whom never had).
