[damn, that was creepy, even for me]
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Little children who died without Baptism go to eternal Hell?!

Wiser words were never spoken.
Or a good memory.
Hmm. Did god go back and fish all the burning babies out of hell when he changed his policy? Or did he leave them there, since they "done broke the rules" at the time they died?

Now, how am I going to try to have a "serious" (at least from their perspective) discussion with the religious, if you atheists keep making fun of their beliefs??
Burning babies for something that they have no control over makes as much sense as hanging someone in Brazil because someone in Australia committed murder. Stupid vindictive gods, the sooner we get rid of the whole idea the better.
The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.
Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!
Little, unbaptized children going to hell would be a scary and unjust thing if hell would actually exist. As it stand it's just another religious idiocy, same as baptism or rest of such meaningless rituals.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

No. They just float around in limbo forever.
However.. they never get a chance to repent of their oringal sin.. so maybe Augustine was right? If so..those babies better get used to the heat! |
