Sadly, I was going to make the drink joke, but I didn't think anyone was old enough to remember it!
I never did try it... I couldn't bare the thought of drinking vegetables!

I don't even know what a V8 is, but I hope you enjoy the forum Smile

V8 is a vegetable drink used mostly for Bloody Mary’s I think. The reference “I couda had a V8”is to some cheesy commercials in the 70s and 80s.

I am enjoying the forum; I just need to figure it out, posting and quoting and all.

No offense, but the world doesn't need more V8s, in fact we need to get off of fossil fuel burning transportation.  Big Grin

Okay, so with almost three times as much greenhouse gas emissions each year, the HUMMER H2 is the clear loser, right? Well, if you are only interested in emissions, then yes, the Prius obviously is a far superior choice. However, recent rumors have indicated that the HUMMER H2 may actually be more environmentally friendly when EVERYTHING is taken into account, from concept to disposal.

See what I did there?

I have often wondered how much coal is burned to charge electric cars.

Shit, I left the kittens on the grill too long, now what?

BLASPHEMER! I give you one simple task to make a sacrifice, and you blow it. That does it, you are not going to be in my new holy book!

In all seriousness, why should it be impossible to have electric cars and still get off coal? What would be wrong with solar to charge them other than the greed pricks don't want to give up on old technology?
