The Married Atheist: Misunderstandings about evolution

The Married Atheist: Misunderstandings about evolution
I did another video today! Thanks to Alex for this suggestion.

I discuss some of the many misrepresentations of evolution we hear time and again, and then go over a very basic explanation of how evolution happens. As always, I encourage people to go away and learn for themselves and not just take my word for anything.

Thanks very much to all who watch my videos, I really appreciate it!

The video thumbnail makes it look like you're doing a velociraptor impersonation.

No, it's obviously quotes in air. Duh.

I reject your subjective interpretation and replace it with my own.

Haha, that was pretty thorough. From a first rough listen I didn't have any criticism concerning the points you make.

I know the sitting in the Kitchen is instrumental for the nonexisting wife joke, but I think you should consider at some point having a different professional-looking backdrop and the camera at a higher angle. Your content is very thoughtful, I'd like the general look of the videos to already be a tell that this is the case. I would also consider an intro music and fade-in with a title. It's easy to do with free software - I use OpenShot under Linux

Thank you Alex! That means a lot, especially coming from you Smile

Wow, I'm really pleased you think my videos would be worth putting that much effort into. Cheers! You're right, I know they look really unprofessional at the moment. I haven't had the energy to get it together to do any editing. I wanted to find a suitable persona/gimmick, and I'm quite happy with this one. It's original, as far as I know! I'd love any feedback from everyone about whether they like the gimmick, whether I should find another or just not do a gimmick.

Thanks for the tip, I'll check that out. At the moment I'm just recording with my ipad balanced on stuff, and then uploading directly to youtube. I suppose I could email the video to myself, and then work on it from my laptop?

Ugh. When I try and email the video to myself from my iPad, it says the file is too large and I need to be connected to a WiFi network. I am connected to one.

I'll have to do it using dropbox or something.
