Also, what makes you think it's a low probability for a woman to feel uncomfortable if a physical man walked into their bathroom/lockerroom? But again, the solution to this should be to make a 3rd bathroom.

You're falling into the trap of binary religious thinking here

https://atheistforums.org/thread-37549.html

You're thinking either a woman or a man going into the bathroom and not thinking of someone who lives full time as a woman and who looks as a woman and who may currently, or previously, had the wrong genitalia.

What would be the wrong genitalia?

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Or maybe, not even that. And I certainly wouldn't feel comfortable changing/showering with them in a lockerroom. There needs to be a line somewhere, and to me, it makes the most sense to make that line after a person has a sex change.

In reality the person who is transitioning probably wants neutral facilities anyway. They'll be self conscious about passing and won't want to go into their assigned toilets / bathroom. Many places have disabled toilets and these are ideal.

But for many people it takes a long time to save up money for SRS (sexual reassignment surgery) or there may be a long waiting list in countries where it is free. And even though they pass quite successfully, and normally they will be able to use the toilets without any bother from anyone else. The NC laws means that these people have to continue using completely inappropriate facilities which would be uncomfortable for everyone involved.

No one is hurting me. My discomfort is my problem.

Really? I go to nature's urinal - a tree, bush or shrub.

I peed on a Bush once, the Secret Service guys sure got pissed!

So to speak.
RE: Transexuals
Maybe I have some residual issues I need to work through but I simply don't like the idea of using same restroom a someone who is physically male. Intellectually, I fully know, quite well no one is likely to do anything to me, and we all just need to go potty but I still don't like any of this. Forget giving trans people their own restroom, I want an Alaina room at all the public places I frequent.
RE: Transexuals
The other thing is, it's not like most people spend all day in there. You're in maybe five minutes or less.

You're never going to stop everyone being uncomfortable.

RE: Transexuals
Tbh if I was a biological woman who was turning into a man I'd stay using the female toilets.

I don't know what men do in public toilets. I imagine them getting it out and then doing backflips around the room as they pee, the way it smells. Piss everywhere, kollha fuq l-art, ay Madonna. Diżgustanti

"Ironically like the nativist far-Right, which despises multiculturalism, but benefits from its ideas of difference to scapegoat the other and to promote its own white identity politics; these postmodernists, leftists, feminists and liberals also use multiculturalism, to side with the oppressor, by demanding respect and tolerance for oppression characterised as 'difference', no matter how intolerable."

RE: Transexuals
How many trans women are there? The odds are a million times higher to encounter a manly man who hit the wrong door in the womens' restroom (as I am wont to do because I can't read). It's a non-problem, entirely made up by turds like the OP to stir up some visceral hate against a small group.

RE: Transexuals
First time I've seen this thread.
Disappointed.
I thought it would be full of pics.

Correct.

I'd agree with that too. I think most people would.
