That's not at all the same as wishing you were jacked like mike Tyson...

Why am I waking up with the opposite genitalia?  I possibly enough savings if I really want to buy surgery so I wouldn't have to suck it up, it might deplete my savings but I'd survive.

If I was transformed into a good looking female there'd be no issue at all I'd just have great lesbian sex forever and not have to worry about STDs

You are "waking up with the opposite genitalia" because I'm asking you to consider what it would be like in transgendered shoes (so to speak); what it would feel like if your anatomical gender did not match your brain. Why is empathy so difficult for some people?

Wow. I wish someone had told me sooner that lesbian sex was equal to no risk, I would be world's most famous sex provider. Here I have been thinking I needed to be careful with the choices I made. Wow! This has been enlightening. (Smirks)

Does NHS cover mental health care?

Yeh it covers mental health care. If you didn't notice that I didn't mention insurance and you're not too familiar with the NHS you might have also missed my post afterwards where I said that my opinion on SRS being free on the NHS would change if they weren't already suffering with funding and waiting times in accident and emergency wards.

The NHS does have a lot of funding but at the moment people seem to be protesting that there isn't enough funding, waiting times are way too long and so on.

So if there were not as many complaints about waiting times and treatment in emergency situations, and it wasn't in the newspapers about an NHS crisis and doctors protesting and so on, then I would fully endorse people who wanted surgery to become whatever they want, have speech therapy to align to their new gender, mental therapy before and after, follow up appointments and so on.

There's a difference between what I'm actually saying and saying there should be no surgeries for people who want to change gender or physically change gender.
Funding for cancer treatment and support isn't great in the NHS so they have charitable donations for this, I don't see why there can't be a foundation of charitable donations for people who want surgery to change gender, maybe there already is, I don't know.

I'm basically saying that it's my opinion, not an expert opinion by far. That if the NHS is having trouble with waiting times and funding for emergency services that priority should overtake the priority of emotional distress to some degree, but I'm sure there'd be some exceptions in which I'd probably change my mind about that.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Their cover of mental care could be better. In fact, the NHS as a whole could be better..

Didn't you know that God gives lesbians a special protective, magical Ora against STD's?! It's mostly because he loves girl on girl. [emoji12]

RE: Transexuals
The NHS certainly could be better, but I've generally found it does a bang up job day to day.

It tends to get no credit for this, and the press jump all over any mishap. I think it's a great institution, and I reckon most of its problems come from government cut backs.

Of course there are problems, and bad staff. It's the same anywhere. I'm not suggesting otherwise. It is something of a lottery as to how good the people are you see, that's one of my biggest concerns with it. I've had excellent treatment, and I've had time wasting idiots.

Well one is a real medical issue and the other is you pretending to be dense...again

No just a genuine question, I want to know what it's like.  I don't think you could tell me what the difference is exactly unless you've really wanted to look like Mike Tyson and also wanted a sex change operation, but just whichever one it is you do know about.

So much for your expert opinion.

1) You made up that I have an expert opinion I never claimed I do.

That's kind of the point. These sort of decisions belong in the hands of experts, not every jackass with an opinion.
