I need to know what's really going on and what's next and what's happening because Tuesday is fucking 6 days away and I don't know if I can survive that long feeling like I'm in the dark about scary shit.
So that's my morning. Sorry for ranting. I haven't told anyone in my family yet so I figured I would vent here.
Sorry to hear about all the terrible waiting, Losty! If it makes you feel any better, my girlfriend from college went through the exact same thing with HPV. Doctors went in, removed the precancerous cells, and she has been perfectly fine and healthy ever since. She goes in for regular screening of course, but it's a wonder of modern medicine that physicians can spot the cells before they turn malignant. I'm sure everything will work out. But the waiting is really awful. Hang in there! [emoji8][emoji8][emoji8]

Oh, and doctors lie when they say biopsies of female reproductive organs don't hurt. They do hurt. If I were you I would demand a dose of pain medication like fentanyl before the procedure. I don't think they can refuse you. You shouldn't have to suffer.

I think the docs reaction might be more due to his expecting to encounter the equivalent of some Helzberg rhinestones that need resetting, and instead finding the Hope Diamond down there.
He knows he's working on a national treasure and he's just a little awestruck at the caliber of the merchandise.
