The only difference I see from that and the last dozen presidents or so, is that he is up front about it while the others played 'good christians' and thought it and did it any way. Trumps major fault (or maybe not) is that he is saying what all the others were thinking and doing. (If he is like all the others then he is lying through his teeth and really is a good guy?)

Up front about what? Being racist and sexist? Well yes I think he really is both those things. And maybe he's a more open version of past presidents in that way. Or about making up facts to suit any occasion? There he is simply off the charts. There's no comparison.

No, it's not. It's people mistaking a loudmouth for having guts. It's people seeing their dearly held prejudices defended and endorsed by a presidential candidate. It's people, not having a life to speak of, finally finding a community to share their hatred with. Not mutually exclusive groups.

I don't think so. He entered a field of 17 as the only man with real name recognition. And he behaves like the reality TV star he is. It's entertainment. Otherwise those with the dearly held prejudices would still be off in a corner with David Duke, who has been equally loud, just not equally heard.

Besides, although there is certainly prejudice involved many are just blue collar guys the economy has left behind. No one has drawn manufacturing jobs out of the hat for them, but they believe that Trump will.

The classic manufacturing jobs are dead and they are not coming back. If you can't design, build, or repair robots there's no place for you. And that also kills off the office support jobs as well since there are fewer people in the factory.

Unless something major happens Trump will win the election against Hillary with 277-330 votes.

Very young, most of all. Just in the process of forming a real opinion, far as I see it.

I know five year olds that wouldn't give voice to stuff that thick. I know I've said and done moronic things in my life, but I can never remember saying something so utterly braindead as claiming a man whose foreign policy is to get others to pay for having american boots on their throats won't interfere in internal matters in her own country, especially when he is already interfering mightily (by buying journalists and politicians) over commercial interests he has in her country. Or has Drumpfuck's reprensible acts in trying to ram a golfclub down the throats of Aberdeeners escaped your noice, Bella?

Yes, it does. I openly speak out against Tories.
