Assuming Bernie isn't elected prez or veep, maybe something like the Clinton Global Initiative would be an appropriate and effective application of his drive and ideas.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Why would Bernie be interested in playing VP for the likes of Clinton, or anyone for that matter? The VP job is more or less put up and shut up. Shake a few international hands and play nice nice. Can't see anyone having a shred of backbone being after that kind of job.
Hillary had that weird bloodclot thingy . . . . .
Just sayin' . . . . . The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
Well, we have a task for the Bernie Sanders Institute; he can go to Venezuela and tell them what they're doing wrong. Charge them 1/2 a billion or so, stand back and watch them turn things around, and then bask in the glow of job well done.

The BernieBros? Fuck them, hard. He'd be serving his country. He would make a sensible VP candidate, adding some much needed legitimacy to Hillary's campaign.

But he seems to be of the very rare breed of politicians not being out for personal gain. I can't think of a more less suited candidate as running mate for a corporate shill. Bullshit. If she gets the nomination, the the way for him to affect any change is to be in a position to influence her and the Senate.
They agree on 95% of their policies. He'd be compromising on 1/20th of what he stands for, in order to hold her to the rest. This idea that compromise makes you a traitor is completely naive and bereft of nuance. Such is the home of the Bernie Bro.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I mean, unless the president died, was culled or had to flee office because of running a criminal racket? And even the moving part of the latter is up for debate. |
