The Hubble Deep Field.

Nothing in the bible beyond "the heavens proclaim the glory" (and the writer certainly did not have this in mind, LOL) gives even an inkling of the true structure of the universe like the Hubble Deep Field does.  And with the 'yardstick' Edwin Hubble worked out, the skies aren't 2 dimensional anymore on the scale of the galaxies, Hubble guides us into greater understanding by giving us the 3D arrangement of the galaxies across an almost unimaginable depth of space.

The stars in the sky. I wish we could visit planets that are far from our solar system. But when I look at the stars I feel a a sense of freedom.

Looking through my telescope on a clear night definitely does it for me. M13 is always a good destination to fantasize even if it isn't very far away. But it is pretty and easy to observe.
