Because of the Atlantic?  Big Grin

Yes, but can you explain to me the materialistic rationalization for a universe which creates a Kittencorn and a Turtle only to live in existential confusion on opposite side of a large mass of water? And when the turtle crosses the Pacific to get inside me will it be the same Pacific that I perceive? And if we perceive it differently does that make it actually different. Do our own perceptions define our existence? Or does our existence create our perceptions? And if our perceptional existenceness percieves Turtle in me at the same place and the same time could this create a wormhole that delivers my beloved Turtle to me?

By what method of determination do you experience existence separate from turtle experience; more to the point, what determined both my and the turtle's particular experiences and could one have been shunt in place of another (by what alternate means could turtle have experienced existence through my perspective or vice versa)?

Why at the market or the zoo, why this morning...why not exist a thousand years from now or deep in the ocean?

Can this ever be coherently approached or determined materialistically/scientifically? Or, is the true question "why is there no turtle in me?"

You are more complex than electrons (which have no individual distinctness), and thus your haecceity is a high-level (weakly) emergent property in the same sense that the deterministic behavior of molecular systems emerges from the indeterministic behavior of the quantum particles that comprise the system.

Why you experience existence as a non-turtle is, per mind-body physicalism, an accident of history, or pace mind-body physicalism, a mystery that will perhaps one day be explained when the Holy Shelled One departs from the Great Terrarium in the sky and bestows upon us Her mystic wisdom.

It's not an existential confusion: It's an experiential transcendentally mystical joy overseas.

Quote:And when the turtle crosses the Pacific to get inside me will it be the same Pacific that I perceive?

Yes but from a more Kittencorny perspective. Or if not at least your pacific is effectively the same just more adorbsy skerry.

Quote:And if we perceive it differently does that  it actually different.
Might as well. But in a complementary KittenTurtleCorn gestalt entity way.

Quote:Do our own perceptions define our existence?
Only when our essence is stable enough to support it in parallel. Kitten-turtle fusion in consistent harmony is a prerequisite.

Quote:Or does our existence create our perceptions?
Our perceptions stem from ourselves but also are our 'selves' or our 'TurtkeyKittencorniliciousIdentityOfAwesome'

Quote:And if our perceptional existenceness percieves Turtle in me at the same place and the same time could this create a wormhole that delivers my beloved Turtle to me?

No but it's fun to think of sweetheart. I suggest patience be embraced for the sake of us having the courage to trust our understanding of kitteny turtleness and turtley kittenness.

Losty! You're losing it!
The answer is because of the unique electromanetic properties of protons, neutrons and electrons.

All other questions should be of a philosophical nature.

You may ask why is matter like that!
Because that's how it manifested itself in this instance of our reality.

It's simple physics... No kittens or turtles or slugs or gods needed....
No God, No fear.
