No worries, Losty, you're the sweet one !! ^_^ (I'm as bitter as an....old genetically-manipulated grebe fruit ><_

:/

Big Grin

Excuse some of the Muslim population, though. Sunnies and Shia are self-righteous (well; most religious people, to be honest), and they just tend to forget that they could be atheists if conditions in their lives was different.

It is a tale told by an idiot; full of sound and fury, signifying nothing." I had to memorise it when I played Macbeth at school.

I thought Marylin Manson is the one who came up with that all along ! despite him speaking about Macbeth in the exact song he used the quote in. As deep and smart as he is, it makes sense that he didn't came up with this; too cool even for him

Every word in that quote is true. Life is not supposed to be lived, I wouldn't say its a tale told by an idiot though, I would say "it's a tale symbolizing finite pleasure for an idiotic ego".

Life is a prophet who has a message, but instead of realizing the message it carries, people attack the sources that made it this way. Without asking what is the reason for it to be like this.

When someone tosses around glib phrases such as "life is not supposed to be lived", it's probably advisable to take a step back and reappraise who precisely may be the idiot telling the tale.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The bargin is missing lots of elements; its scale is corrupted.

Bad people win, we suffer at the hands of butchers from different nations, sons pay for the sins of their fathers, in many times we don't get the payement for our deeds, nice guys finish last; that is when the bad -as I have said two sentences ago- do indeed:finish first, survival is for the strongest, the jungle will eat you if you didn't eat it. While some are born whole and complete, some are born not complete and missing essential health elements that makes them live the "enjoyable" life that we always hear about.

You want to stay here? go ahead, be my guest, but for me, no thanks.
Not idiot; but a selfish person who accepted the messed up scales of earthly life, is the only person who would appreciate this life. A step back might indeed be a wise move, but not to run away and accuse the criticizers of the messed up scale of being "idiots", but to rethink via taking a bird-eye view that allows one to see the whole size of the scale and most importantly: the messed up hay it's made up of; the unfair balance it is decorated with.
