To circumcise or not to circumcise?

Female circumcision is not generally the horror stories you see in the news. It's just a trimming of the labia minora and the clitoral hood.

Why is it ok to mutilate a genitals if you're less likely to royally fuck it up?

I didn't ignore it. I clicked it. I saw it was the AAP and I already know their stance. I posted it just yesterday along with the stances of pediatrics groups around the world.


I know they're skerred to take away muh freedoms to treat my child like shit. It's why spanking isn't illegal as well. It doesn't change the facts. The facts that even they do not recommend it as it has no significant benefits. Do they outweigh the risks? Probably but having a low risk doesn't make something more moral.

-A reduced risk of some sexually transmitted diseases in men.
-Protection against penile cancer.
-Prevention of balanitis (inflammation of the glans) and balanoposthitis (inflammation of the glans and foreskin).
-Prevention of phimosis (the inability to retract the foreskin) and paraphimosis (the inability to return the foreskin to its original location).
-Having to use the "death grip" when you jerk off

I've never read any studies outside of America that agree with most of the things on your list.

All I know is this: not circumcising can lead to numerous health risks over the course of the boy's life, and circumcising will change the way he jerks off. Benefits outweighing risks is the reason anybody ever does anything. There are so many decisions new parents have to make while raising a child. If the upside is the prevention of numerous health risks and a decrease in likelihood of catching certain infections and diseases, and the downside is changing the way he jerks off.... I certainly don't blame anyone for choosing to circumcise.

What's the point in me finding another study if you're just going to disregard any that I post?

Anecdotal, but none of the uncut guys I've been with have ever had 'numerous problems', and they were of various ages so it wasn't like they were all 25 or younger - some were over 40.

Interestingly enough, they all had the biggest dicks of my experience. That had nothing to do with the circumcision. It's just a personal fact I suddenly remembered.
