CIASJBHHYDM I think honesty is very important. The closer your relationship is with someone, the more honesty matters. Being painfully honest, when appropriate, has saved my marriage multiple times from both sides. It's easy being honest when you have nothing "bad" to say. It's the other bit that's hard.
