I used the word label deliberately as I thought it would be what you would be thinking about upon seeing my grammatical corrections.
I didn't mean to appear unwelcome. Still, though, I can see I didn't make my point clear enough. Whether you like it or not, or choose to identify as it or not, not holding an active belief in God automatically makes you an atheist. Atheism isn't some kind of label you can choose to identify with for its own sake. It's a word with a meaning behind it: lack of belief in God.
Again, I apologize that I'm doing this here, but I didn't see any more appropriate place to dispel your own confusion about what you seem to think about yourself, and, implicitly, about atheism. And yet, at the same time, it's been over two weeks that you've been on the site, I hardly think you're going to dislike it for my perhaps inappropriate comments in this already old introductory thread of yours. In other words, you're one of us now.

To be clear, I know who and what I am, and I know what others will label me based upon what I know and have stated about myself. According to word terms I am an agnostic atheist. I am one who has no knowledge of a god's existence one way or another (agnostic) and I am one who holds no active belief in a god (atheist). The fact that I don't use word labels to identify myself is a manner of personal preference, and is not to be mistaken for any sort of identity crisis.
I don't find any of your comments inappropriate. Your opinion is unique and is welcome. Heck, you can even dis my theoretical exercises if you like

Well, since you're so inviting, what are you so scared of that you don't want to flaunt your likeness to the rest of us? Being politically incorrect? Surely, public misunderstanding of who you are, in certain parts of the world, isn't enough to force you to lie or obfuscate about your own identity?
The fact that some people, and I can't stress the word enough, are able through pure malice and diversion tactics to make you so ashamed of who you are and what you think that you actually think it a good idea to hide it is tragic enough as it is. I can only hope you at least meditate about that.
