I don't think there is any evidence at all. I think it's all about context.

But context is a complicated thing, so sometimes having a simple "No nudity" rule is perhaps the safest bet.

I would actually wager that people would be less repressed if nudity wasn't so taboo.

I agree. I think the problem is even if increased nudity worldwide only harmed one child somehow, one is too many.

Question is could it possibly decrease harm to children? I'm not sure how it could.

I can think of many ways less censorship about nudity can be a good thing but less harm to children is not one of them.

It seems to me that 99.9999999999999999999999% *at least* less censorship of nudity is harmless to children. I can't even think of any examples how it could harm them. But maybe it's just a way of being extra, extra safe, you know? And just because I can't think of any examples doesn't mean there is one. There's a lot at stake and when it comes to a situation as serious as child protection no risks at all are worth it, however minuscule the risk.
