incentive for patrons

RE: incentive for patrons
A symbol is fine, but that's not what I'd like to see. I want a new color.

And if I'm the only one who wants a new color... then fine... give me the color I want (it's already in another thread, btw) and I'll shut up about the entire thing.

Yeah. Too many colors just seems so... Dunno. I really don't like it.

The symbol sounds good. Or just one color for patrons... not five. I know you said that already, Nymph.  Just giving my opinion. Having a rainbow of color just makes the greens and reds less noticeable. It just seems unnecessary.

Next thing everyone will want to start a thread to get their favorite color. What gives? If you want to stand out, get a fancy new avatar. Heh. Sorry. I just really really don't like the idea of having all these colors.

But do your thing. More power to you. Smile

Hmm. My issue with the colours thing is similar to the one raised by Jörmungandr on the previous page, if there are loads it may become slightly confusing. I do think there should be something set up patrons, but I'm giving it thought at the moment as to what it should be.

Thanks Panda... like I said, they are just suggestions. Personally, I like the voting thing. We vote on x number of colors that aren't already dedicated and the most popular vote wins. That pretty much keeps it simple, yanno?

I like the symbol. Purple donor username with a patron symbol. People like that bling.

Also, we need to bring back trophies.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I'd rather be a trophy whore than a rep whore.
