Alright people involved in the league.

We draft on Sunday night, 5PM ET.

If you cannot make the live draft on the Yahoo Fantasy App, you can set your autodraft order, or let yahoo draft for you.

Let me know if you have any questions.

The guts of the PM for conversation:

SteelCurtain Wrote:Hello people,

Just a reminder, our live draft is on this Sunday at 5PM EDT, 2PM PDT.
The league website is:
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/f1/128082

You can draft there, or with the Yahoo Fantasy Sports App:
Google Play: Yahoo! Fantasy Sports
iTunes: Yahoo! Fantasy Sports

The draft will take about 2 hours. There are two options for drafting (well, three):
1) Draft your team live on the app or the website
2) Have Yahoo Draft for you (aka "The Coward's Way")
2.5) Draft your starters live, then have Yahoo draft the rest.

We will draft 17 players. The starting roster each week will consist of 9 players:
1 QB
2 WR
2 RB
1 FLEX (WR, RB, or TE)
1 TE
1 K
1 DST

Each team MUST draft at least a starting roster. If you don't, I will take over your roster and apply best player available to fill out the roster.

The league scoring rules are here:
http://football.fantasysports.yahoo.com/...2/settings

Changes from last season:

- We will apply a FAAB (Free Agent Acquisition Budget) for transaction moves this year. This is a compromise between having a roster move limit and unlimited roster moves. Basically, you will have $100 in budget all year. During the Waiver Period, you will have to bid on players. If someone outbids you, you do not get the player. If two people bid the same amount, the waiver order will decide who wins.

- The waiver order will be based on league standings. If you are in last place, you will be first on the waiver wire, and the exact opposite for first place

- There are unlimited trades

- The No Dumping/Team Abandonment Rule will be more strictly enforced. You will be booted from the league if you fail to set a roster twice or do not log in for two weeks. I will set your roster every week from then on, with another owner setting the roster if your team plays mine. Please do not make me do this. This screws up the entire league for the 9 other teams

Please let me know if anyone has any questions, especially about waiver wire/FAAB.

When jocks pick on Star Trek or Star Wars or Harry Potter or Dungeons & Dragons fans, exactly how does fantasizing over sports differ from that?

Let me know where rangers, elves, dwarfs and wizards are actually doing battle in real life and get back to us.

So much kudos.

Sports isn't battle either, it is simulated battle. Real battle is war where real people die. Neither sports or si fi should be taken as seriously as real battle.

You're just mad because your team can't win any battles
